Our prices for commissioning icons are determined by both size and complexity. Please consult the list of commonly used sizes for reference. Prices may vary based on special elements, including ornaments, gold accents, ornamental frames, etc. (Please note: sizes are limited to 12x16”.) All prices are in USD.
Commissioning your icon
Our icons draw inspiration from the rich tradition of Eastern Orthodox iconography. Crafted on plain wood panels or traditional gessoed boards. Icon boards are custom-made from linden wood with oak braces, and imported from Europe.
Note: For those desiring a traditional gessoed panel, please anticipate an additional cost for the panel, which varies based on size ($140-$190).
Creating a traditional Eastern Orthodox icon is a meticulous process, demanding 50 to 90 hours and completion within 5-6 weeks. Timelines may vary depending on current workload and panel availability.
